Troubleshooting
Problem
When trying to launch i2 Analyst's Notebook trial version on a virtual machine, the following error is thrown.
Analyst's Notebook could not obtain authorization to run
Encountered SafeNet RMS error: 226 [0x00000e2][Local computer, IBMANB.main 1]
No servers responded to the broadcast. [IBMANB.main 1]
Cause
The trial version of i2 Analyst's Notebook is not supported on a virtual machine. This is documented in the i2 Analyst's Notebook release notes.
Resolving The Problem
Install i2 Analyst's Notebook on a physical machine rather than a virtual machine.
