Question

Do the Hummingbird DM and Interwoven TeamSite connectors support native content retrieval and upload using streams when you use IBM® Content Integrator Verison 8.5?

Cause

Native content retrieval using streams for Hummingbird DM and InterwovenTeamSite connectors was added to Content Integrator version 8.5 later in the release.

Answer

The Hummingbird DM and Interwoven TeamSite connectors support native content retrieval and upload using streams. We previously documented that both connectors did not support native content retrieval using streams.


The following repositories require co-location of repository and connector for remote streaming:

  • Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services
  • Microsoft NTFS
  • IBM Lotus Notes Domino Document Manger
  • IBM Lotus Notes
