Problem
Attempts to connect to an HTTPS SSL site via the Rational Integration Tester (RIT) HTTP Proxy fail. The Proxy log reports "Received fatal alert: certificate_unknown"
Symptom
You are unable to route HTTPS messages through the RIT HTTP Proxy.
The client does not receive a reply, and the Proxy log contains the following:
New I/O worker #6, RECV TLSv1.2 ALERT: fatal, certificate_unknown New I/O worker #6, fatal: engine already closed. Rethrowing javax.net.ssl.SSLException: Received fatal alert: certificate_unknown
This problem started after upgrading to version 9.1.1 or newer.
