HTTP_67 - Not able to finish all retries because the batch was timed out. Please increase the 'Batch Wait Time' or decrease the 'Base Backoff Interval'

Troubleshooting

Problem

In previous Data Collector versions, the HTTP Client processor only checked the Batch Wait Time before each HTTP request. Starting with version 4.0.0, the HTTP Client processor checks the Batch Wait Time before and after every HTTP request. Hence, the processor generates more errors than in previous releases.

Symptom

  1. Pipeline generates this error record while running.

  2. Pipeline was previously working but generates this error record after upgrading to Data Collector version 4.0.0 and above.

HTTP_67 - Not able to finish all retries because the batch was timed out. Please increase the 'Batch Wait Time' or decrease the 'Base Backoff Interval'.

Resolving The Problem

  1. Increase “Batch Wait Time”. Navigate to HTTP Processor → HTTP tab → Batch Wait Time (ms).

  1. Decrease “Base Backoff Interval”. Navigate to HTTP Processor → HTTP tab → Per-Status Actions → Base Backoff Interval (ms).
