How to use string trailing blank comparison related server options to get expect results on MySQL and MariaDB

How To

Summary

The default setting of the string trailing blank comparison related server option are optimized from v11.5.7.0. The default values are set according to data sources’ string trailing blank comparison mechanism recorded in their documents. With the default setting, string comparison could get more pushing down with the guarantee of the correct result on most data sources and customers have no need to reset the server options. However, in MySQL and MariaDB, the string trailing blank comparison mechanism can change along with their collation setting, and customers need to set string trailing blank comparison related server options with the appropriate value to get the correct query result.
