How to use the Fiddler tool for troubleshooting Emptoris application problems?
Answer
You can use the following instructions for setting up Fiddler:
- Download and install fiddler2 from http://fiddler2.com
- Start Fiddler2.
- Open web browser and go to SSM login page.?
- From Fiddler drag-n-drop "Any Process" icon from Fiddler toolbar to the SSM page in the web browser.?

Note: Make sure to drop the icon on the SSM page in the web browser.? Fiddler log will not be captured properly if icon is dropped anywhere else in the browser (e.g. web browser?s toolbar)
- Login to VSM and start testing.
- Once the issue is reproduced save Fiddler logs through File -> Save and attach the .saz archive file to your support ticket.
