Troubleshooting
Problem
IBM Worklight comes with latest jQuery version. Occasionally developer code may require a specific jQuery version; for example, when using jQuery mobile. When a Worklight project is updated with a newer version of jQuery, upgrading that project to a new Worklight version may render parts of the code non-functional.
Symptom
The following error messages and upgrade messages may appear in Worklight Studio, the javascript console in the Mobile Browser Simulator, or in debug output from a simulator or mobile device.
- Uncaught TypeError: Object <name> has no method 'require'
- Uncaught TypeError: Object <name> has no method 'live'
- The bundled jQuery was upgraded from <value_1> to <value_2> due to removal of deprecated functionality
