How to trigger the Socket Server Demo Service Business process from the Command Line

How To

Summary

This article provides a step-by-step guide on how to trigger the Socket Server Demo Service Business Process in Sterling Integrator (SI) using the command line. The goal is to demonstrate how to send multiple packets to the Socket Server Adapter, which will, in turn, trigger the Business Process in the SI application.
The Socket Server Demo Service Business Process is designed to run within the Sterling Integrator application and is activated when a TCP connection is established with the Socket Adapter. To achieve this, we will use netcat (also known as nc), a networking tool that allows you to send and receive data over TCP/UDP connections.
