Summary
Background: There are some groups of 12 Compute Nodes connected to the same Level-1 Infiniband switch. From a performance perspective, there is a way to define a default policy in LSF which would drive the allocation in the following way:
- Try allocating nodes that belong to the same Infiniband switch first.
- If this is impossible, split allocation between as few as possible distinct Infiniband switches.
