How to run the SDL Simulator from the command line?

Answer

Follow the Steps below to Start the SDL Simulator from Command line:
 
1. Start the Post Master by executing the command:   sdt -noclients &  
While running from the command prompt, postmaster doesnot start automatically and needs to be started  manually before starting the SDT simulator.
 
2. Run the simulator from the command line by executing the generated simulator file. The File names of the Simulator Binary would be of the format <System name>_xxx.sct (on UNIX) or <System name>_xxx.exe (On Windows).
 
The textual interface is invoked by executing the generated simulator directly from the operating system prompt. This is called running a simulator in textual mode. When started, the simulator responds with the following text:
Welcome to SDL SIMULATOR. Simulating system <system>
