Summary
Unlike the legacy Maximo, you cannot add sample data after Maximo Manage is deployed as the database is updated without the sample data. To add sample data after deploying Maximo Manage, the recommended approach is to deactivate the application, clean up or re-create the database, then reconfigure Maximo Manage with the option to deploy with sample data.
If you do not want to deactivate Manage, re-create the database and reconfigure the application, you can run the maxinst.sh script as an alternative option to create Maximo sample data.
