How to reset the admin password on an appliance?

Please find below the steps to reset the admin password using the CD:

A. Insert the ISO image CD in the CD-Drive of the appliance and reboot the appliance.

B. On the installation screen, the following options will display:

1. Installation
2. Administration
3. Help
4. Exit and reboot

C. Select option 2 (Administration) which will display a prompt with the following options:

1. Network Setup
2. Set Admin Password
3. Update Firmware
4. Help
5. Done

D. Select option 2 (Set Admin Password) and press enter.

E. A prompt will display stating 'Continuing will reset security options to factory defaults. Are you sure you want to continue?'

F. Select 'Yes' and press enter.

G. Installation steps will come back to the options described in step C. above. Select option '5' for "Done".

H. Installation steps will come back to the options described in step B. above. Select option '4' for "Exit and reboot".

I. This should reset the password and you should be able to login using the default user id and password.
