How to replace blank cells with a default value in a crosstab

Troubleshooting

Problem

In a list object, you can replace null values by modifying a data item's expression to conditionally check for a NULL and replace the data item with another value. However, this technique will not always work for a crosstab because we can have blank cells caused by pivoting the data after we've already sent the conditional SQL to the RDBMS and returned the tabular data. The same functionality is possible in this situation by using a Variable and a Conditional Block.
