How to refresh a Java application program

Question & Answer

Question

I'm executing an IMS Java program that is packaged in a .jar file. I made a change to the program, re-compiled and re-packaged it into the same .jar file. In order to get the change, I had to refresh the JMP message region. Currently with IMS, the change takes effect as soon as I move the new version of the program into PGMLIB. Can I refresh a new copy of the Java application program without recycling the region?
