Question & Answer
Question
I have used the /POSTHOC subcommand in ONEWAY, UNIANOVA, and GLM to request Tukey's HSD test. The output for HSD includes a Multiple Comparison with each pairwise mean difference and the corresponding standard error, significance level and confidence interval. The HSD index is not printed. How can I request that the HSD index, i.e. the critical mean difference, be printed for Tukey HSD tests? An example of the index calculation is given at http://faculty.vassar.edu/lowry/ch14pt2.html . At the .05 level, the HSD value is 4.88. I would like the posthoc output for TUKEY under ONEWAY, UNIANOVA, or GLM to report that value.
