How to permanently export the ITX/WTX environment.

Question & Answer

Question

How to permanently export the ITX/WTX environment.

Cause

The IBM Transformation Extender (ITX) / WebSphere Transformation Extender (WTX) environment variables are getting lost every time a user logs out or the server is re-started.

Answer

You could add the ITX/WTX setup script (. ./setup) execution to the login script so that every time the user logs on the setup script would be run.

You could speak to your System Administrator for more information if needed.
