Known Environments: Any of our products that uses Internet Information Services (IIS)
Description: Occasionally, you may be asked to perform an iisreset to restart the application.
Instructions
- Remote into your web server.
- Open an Administrative Command Prompt.
- Type iisreset.
Note: If you receive the following message, try running iisreset again:
C:\Windows\System32>iisreset
Attempting stop...
Restart attempt failed.
Access denied, you must be an administrator of the remote computer to use this
command. Either have your account added to the administrator local group of
the remote computer or to the domain administrator global group.
