How to interpret EGL Editor syntax error messages in Rational Business Developer

Problem

Occasionally, the EGL editor will show a syntax error messages starting with IWN.SYN, and the user does not know what is wrong.

Symptom

The following is an example message:
IWN.SYN.2103.e 3752/2 Syntax Error "" expected
