How to install BDI version 8 with Maximo.
Answer
The build data interpreter (BDI) checks aircraft and other configuration-managed assets, position by position. The BDI ensures that assets comply with the configuration rules in the models for the assets.

For Windows systems, use the provided install.bat script to install BDI as a service.
For AIX and Linux systems, follow these steps:
1. Execute the v8-service-test.sh script
2. Ensure the configuration is properly updated in the v8.ini file
