Summary
The exposed REST API request is called to load the Launch List in Process Portal. The exposed REST API is responsible for retrieving all of the processes, services, and dashboards that the logged in user is authorized to start. Sometimes the exposed REST API takes a long time to complete, resulting in the Process Portal page loading slowly. Other times, if the exposed REST API times out after the default timeout of 60 seconds, then the Process Portal page might not load at all. The default REST timeout in Process Portal is determined by the value of mashups configuration property com.ibm.bpm.social.restRequestTimeoutSeconds.
