Problem
How to view the dashboard specification and import it onto other Cognos Analytics environment for the purposes of troubleshooting.
Note that the dashboard specification viewer is used for troubleshooting purposes. Modifying the specification in any way is not supported. Additionally, copying and importing specifications as a means to migrate a dashboard from one environment to another is not supported. The supported method of moving dashboards from one environment to another is to use partial deployments or deployments of the entire content store.
Note that specifications from Cognos Dashboards on IBM Cloud Pak for Data versions 4.6.x and earlier are not compatible with dashboards in Cognos Analytics or Cognos Analytics on Cloud Pak for Data. Specifications of dashboards in Cognos Analytics or Cognos Analytics on Cloud Pak for Data are not compatible with Cognos Dashboards on IBM Cloud Pak for Data versions 4.6.x and earlier.
