There are four separate credentials required to use IBM Cloud Brokerage Store.

Description

There are four separate credentials required to use IBM Cloud Brokerage Store.? Those are as follows:

  • Subscription ID
  • Application ID (sometimes called the Client ID)
  • Tenant ID (sometimes called the Directory ID)
  • Key (sometimes called the Client Secret Key)

This is the process to obtain those credentials.

Assumptions

Access to the Azure portal with the proper subscription.

Proper permissions to view Active Directory & view/create App registrations

Procedure

  1. Login to the Azure portal
  2. Get Subscription ID.? Click on Subscriptions --> Locate the proper subscription ID and copy it?
  3. Get Application ID.? Click on Azure Active Directory --> App registrations --> Select the appropriate, existing application and copy the Application ID. (if there isn't an existing one, create a new application)
  4. Get Key.? While still viewing the Application ID --> Click on Settings --> Keys --> Enter Key description --> Select the proper Duration --> Click on Save.? The key is then generated.? Copy the value. (Note. This is the only time you can copy this value so don't lose it.)
  5. Get Tenant ID (this is also called the Directory ID).? Click on Active directory --> Properties --> Copy the Tenant/Directory ID.
