Summary
Starting Db2 V11.5.6.0, db2connectactivate is enabled for establishing a SSL connection for activating the server based license. This can be achieved by creating the global configuration properties file DB2JCCConfiguration.properties under the same folder as the db2connectactivate.jar file resides in.

However, if you are required to activate the license over an SSL connection to the database via db2connectactivate from version prior to Db2 V11.5.6.0, there are two possible workaround solutions.
