How do you ensure that only the owner of the Work Item can modify the time sheet entry in project area created from process templates other than Formal Process Management Process in Rational Team Concert ?
Cause
You would like to ensure that there are no misleading information included in the time-sheet by other users.
Answer
Procedure:
To make sure that only the owner of the Work Item can modify the time sheet entry perform the below steps :
- Open > RTC Eclipse Client
- Connect to the Project Area
- Right-click on Project Area name and select > Open
- Click on process configuration Tab
- Expand Team Configuration
- Select Operation Behavior
- From the list of operations in right-hand side, scroll to the end and expand Work Items > Save Work Items.
- Click on the field in front of Save Work Item for Everyone Role.
- Select the checkbox "Precondition and follow-up actions are configured for this operation"
- Click add in Preconditions box and select "Time tracking Owner Check" > Save the configuration.
