Summary
This document is applicable to anyone who wants to better understand performance for specific MDX queries on the TM1 Server.
Steps
- Open/edit the tm1s-log.properties file
- The file must reside in the same directory as the tm1s.cfg file for the server you wish to debug
- If the file does not exist, you may copy one from the \tm1_64\samples\ folder
- At the bottom of the file, add the following DEBUG lines:
- log4j.logger.TM1.MdxViewCreate=DEBUG
- log4j.logger.TM1.MdxLogger=DEBUG
- Rerun your test and review the DEBUG output written to the tm1server.log file
