How to enable the cacti.log for RTM remote poller

Problem

You need to enable the cacti.log in the RTM poller.

Resolving The Problem

Follow the procedure below to enable the cacti.log in remote poller host.

1. Login the RTM poller host.
2. cd $RTM_HOME/rtm/lsf91/bin, $RTM_HOME is the RTM installation directory.
3. Edit the grid.conf and enable the cacti.log as below:

Log_File $RTM_HOME/cacti/log/cacti.log

You need replace the $RTM_HOME/cacti/log/cacti.log file path with your own one.

4. Save the change to grid.conf
5. Restart the lsfpollerd with "service lsfpollerd stop/start" command.
