Need information about uninstallation of SCP.
Answer
To uninstall IBM SmartCloud Provisioning, you need to execute the following steps:
For High Scale Low Touch:
- yum remove isaac*
- on the PXE server, remove all rpm files from /data&repos/isaac/ibm-rpms
- yum clean all
- yum update
The last three steps are needed in order to cleanup the yum repository.
Note: As for the yum installation commands, above yum commands should be run from the yum repository (for example in the web service virtual machine) you have defined at installation time that includes SmartCloud Provisioning packages in the machine.
If you do not perform that, when you try to install again IBM SmartCloud Provisioning, the installation procedure will claim you are updating and not doing a fresh install.
For Virtual Image Library:
- Uninstall WebSphere Application Server by running the following command:
- Uninstall IBM Installation Manager by running the following command:
Remove the following files and directories:
/home/library
/etc/imageLibrary
/opt/ARQ-2.8.7
/opt/Joseki-3.4.4
/opt/TDB-0.8.9
/opt/hbase
/opt/il_ear
/opt/json4j
/opt/origami
/opt/IBM/IMShared (if existing)
/opt/IBM/InstallationManager (if existing)
/opt/IBM/WebSphere (if existing)
/tmp/fresh_install_vil.step (if existing)
/tmp/upgrade_vil.step (if existing)
/tmp/configAndStartIL.step (if existing)
For Image Construction and Composition Tool
1. Start the uninstallation wizard by running the following command:
/opt/IBM/InstallationManager/eclipse/IBMIM
2. After completing the wizard, remove image and bundle repositories by running the following command:
rm -rf /drouter/*
