How do I schedule an event in my channel?

You can schedule a new event from the Events tab of your selected IBM Video Streaming channel.

Access Your Channel

1. Log in to your IBM Video Streaming account at video.ibm.com.
2. From the left navigation menu, click Channel.
3. If the correct channel is already selected, continue to the next step.
4. If the correct channel is not selected, click the channel name to search your existing channels or create a new one.

Open the Events Tab

1. Click Events.
2. The Events tab will open for the selected channel.
3. Click Schedule a New Event in the upper-right corner.

Create the Event

1. Fill out the required information for the new event.
2. Review the event name, description, date, and time.
3. Click Save at the bottom of the page when finished.

Although the maximum event length shown is 4 hours, this does not mean your stream must stop after that time. It only means the scheduled event cannot be created for a longer duration. This does not affect the actual length of your live stream.

Review or Edit the Scheduled Event

After clicking Save, you will return to the Events tab in your dashboard. The newly created event will appear with its scheduled time and date.

You can edit the event after it has been created by clicking the wrench icon.

Editing the event allows you to update details such as:

• Event name
• Event description
• Event date
• Event time
