How do I make the revised synonym dictionary effective immediately?

Problem

I use OmniFind Enterprise Edition (OEE). I followed instructions in the information center to revise my custom synonym dictionary. However, it did not become effective until after it was associated with the collection again. How do I make the revised synonym dictionary effective immediately?
