Summary
After registering for IBM Storage Insights or being added as a user, a welcome email is sent with a link to access your IBM Storage Insights instance. Outside of that email, you can launch IBM Storage Insights from your My IBM Dashboard or with a direct link.
Steps
- Open the My IBM Dashboard in a browser and log in with your IBMid.
https://myibm.ibm.com/dashboard/ - Look at the available tiles and locate IBM Storage Insights.
- Click Launch from an IBM Storage Insights tile.
- Consider bookmarking the resulting link that launched IBM Storage Insights. Use that as an alternate method to access IBM Storage Insights again.

https://insights.ibm.com/gui/<xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx>
https://insights.ibm.com/gui/<xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx>
where <xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx> is a unique identifier for your IBM Storage Insights instance (tenant).
Additional Information
- Accept any invitations to join IBM Storage Insights before trying to access it.
- The URL for IBM Storage Insights should include insights.ibm.com. Anything with ibmserviceengage.com is outdated and will not work.
- If you cannot access IBM Storage Insights, open a support case for assistance. Select the IBM Storage Insights product.
