How do I join a Webex meeting hosted by IBM from my web browser?
Steps
1. Once you receive a Webex meeting link from IBM you will be prompted to provide your name and email address
2.1 Install Webex on Google chrome
a) Click "Add Webex to Chrome"
b. "Click add to chrome" and later "add extension" to install required plugin.
2.2 Install Webex on Firefox
a) click "Add Webex to Firefox"
b) Click "Continue to Installation"
c) Save the installer "Cisco_WebEx_Add-On"
d) Once your download is completed open the file and proceed with installation.
Steps below are for all web-browsers (Chrome, Firefox)
4. Once you are connected to the personal room, ensure to enable your microphone (input) and headphones/speakers (output). Select video connection as "No Video".
5. If you are requested to share your desktop click on of the two options indicated below and select your source - by default "screen 1". You may also change your audio input/output if there are any issues with your current device.
6. When you are sharing your screen, hover your mouse on the green tab to manage your session settings.
