How do I assign a designated user as "Administrator" using PCM Web GUI? Error message, "Invalid login credentials. Users are required to have system administrator access to login. Try logging in as an administrator."
Cause
After initial installation, you can use "root" to log in to the PCM web portal, however, in common practice you cannot allow root direct system access. If you try to log in to the PCM web portal using a normal user account, including the privileged user accounts with required sudo settings, you will receive an error messages like the following example.
Example error message:
"Invalid login credentials. Users are required to have system administrator access to login. Try logging in as an administrator."

To assign the "Administrator" role to a designated user:
1. Log in to the PCM WEB GUI with a "System Administrator" user (by default "root").
2. Navigate to "System & Settings" > "User Assignments".
3. Select the specific user by checking the user check box.
4. Click the [Apply] button.
