Troubleshooting
Problem
This document shows how you can display more granular detail about which fixes are applied to WebSphere Application Server.
Environment
WebSphere Application Server V6.0 and later for IBM i
Resolving The Problem
Use the following commands to display the WebSphere Application Server product maintenance details:
| 1. | Issue the STRQSH command. |
| 2. | Issue the cd <product install location>/bin command. For example: cd /QIBM/ProdData/WebSphere/AppServer/v85/Express/bin |
| 3. | For WAS v7.0 and earlier: Execute the "versionInfo -maintenancePackageDetail" command. For WAS v8.0 and later: Execute the "versionInfo -ifixDetail" or "versionInfo -fixpackDetail" command. |
The -maintenancePackageDetail/-fixpackDetail option will add details about applied maintenance packages/fixpacks to the report. The -ifixDetail option will add details about the applied interim fixes to the report.
For more detail on the content of the report, you should refer to the following URLs:
WAS v7.0 and earlier:

WAS v8.0 and later:
http://pic.dhe.ibm.com/infocenter/wasinfo/v8r5/topic/com.ibm.websphere.express.iseries.doc/ae/rins_versionInfo.html
The output of the versionInfo command helps answer the question, "Is PK##### installed?"
Here is an example output from the "versionInfo -fixpackDetail" command:
