How to Disable Web Font Downloads in Content Analyzer

How To

Summary

When KVP results are displayed for a document in IBM Business Automation Content Analyzer, web fonts are used for the controls that expand and collapse the KVP sections. These web fonts are downloaded at run time by the browser from a third-party site as determined by the browser being used. If company policy prohibits this behavior, the web font downloads can be disabled.

Steps

To disable web font downloads:
Mozilla Firefox
  1. Start Firefox and for the URL, enter "about:config".
  2. Click Accept the Risk and Continue.
  3. Click Show All.
  4. Locate gfx.downloadable_fonts.enabled and click the toggle button to set it to false.
Google Chrome
  1. Right click the desktop shortcut and select Properties.
  2. Append this text to the Target line.
    --disable-remote-fonts
