Summary

SMTP pipelining is used to send multiple SMTP commands at one time to save time and resources and is used by default for IBM i SMTP when using *SMTP directory type. To disable this feature add an environment variable
QIBM_QTMS_PIPELINE_OFF

ADDENVVAR ENVVAR(QIBM_QTMS_PIPELINE_OFF) LEVEL(*SYS)

Restart the SMTP server with the commands

ENDTCPSVR *SMTP
STRTCPSVR *SMTP
