How to determine the version of Snowbound Software in IBM Content Integrator

Abstract

IBM packages third party software from Snowbound Software and distributes it as the common viewer applet in IBM Content Integrator. Many times, when a customer has an issue with the common viewer applet, information on the version of the components that are involved becomes critical for solving the issue.

You can find the version of Snowbound Software that is used in IBM Content Integrator in the vbr.jar file:

1) Navigate to the lib folder in the IBM Content Integrator home directory.
2) Make a backup of the vbr.jar file.
3) Extract the vbr.jar file.
4) Open the SnowVersion.txt file that is located in the META-INF directory. The SnowVersion.txt file contains the version information.
