How to create an IBM SPSS Software Product Compatibility Reports

Answer

To generate an IBM Software Product Compatibility Report for SPSS or any IBM product, select the URL:

https://www.ibm.com/software/reports/compatibility/clarity/index.html

Two types of reports:
1) High-level reports about products related to:

      · Operating Systems
      · Related software
      · Hypervisors
      · Translations
    A list of three types of reports is dynamically created depending on which topic under High-level reports' is selected.

2) In-depth reports
    Detailed system requirements:
      · Supported operating systems, related software, hypervisors and hardware requirements.

    New Design!
      · View new features
      · Create a report
      · Sample report

    Hardware requirements:
      · Find out the required hardware for a product you are interested in.
      · Create report
      · Sample report

    End of service:
      · Find out the end of service dates for the products you have in mind.

    Note: There are instructions under each type of report with that report's specific requirements.
      To see an example of the specific report that will be generated, click on the link 'Sample report' under the interested report type of your choosing.

Here is an example of the steps needed to create a detailed system requirements report containing the supported operating systems, the related software, hypervisors, and hardware requirements for the IBM software product, SPSS Statistics:

(1) Access the following web page: https://www.ibm.com/software/reports/compatibility/clarity/index.html
(2) Select 'Create a report' located under the heading 'In-depth reports' section near bottom of page.
    • To see a sample of the report, click on "Sample Report" under the 'In-depth reports' heading.
(3) Under the 'Full or partial product name' section, type the following: spss statistics
(4) Select the 'magnifying glass' icon.
(5) In the 'Search results' dialog box, select the following entry: SPSS Statistics
(6) In the 'Version' drop-down dialog box, select the version of the product released at the same time as the version of the License Manager.
(7) In the 'Filters' section, select 'Operating system platforms'.
(8) Under the 'Operating system platforms', select the desired operating system(s).
(9) Select the 'Submit' button. A report will now be presented with multiple tabs. Select the 'Operating systems' tab. The operating systems supported by the corresponding version of the License Manager will be listed.
