How to connect to Oracle DB using Service Name with Cast Iron

Question

If we put the Service Name in the Database name field, we get this error: Unable to Connect: [CastIron Systems][Oracle JDBC Driver][Oracle]ORA-12505 Connection refused, the specified SID (FORRDEV) was not recognized by the Oracle server.

Cause

'Oracle' type DB endpoint only support the SID value in the Database name field.

Answer

Remove the DatabaseName and add an additional property as ServiceName=<ORACLESRVNAME>.
