Summary
This document is a real example which goes through the setup and configuration of SPNEGO/TM1Web using a sample server. The intent of this document is to allow you to follow along, implementing the necessary changes for the environment you are configuring.
The official production documentation should still be reviewed and used, and can be found here: https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSD29G_2.0.0/com.ibm.swg.ba.cognos.tm1_inst.2.0.0.doc/c_tm1_ug_configuring_sso_with_spnego.html
Please note that if you plan to use TM1Web sheets embedded in Planning Analytics Workspace, that you should not proceed with this configuration. Planning Analytics Workspace will not allow you to open a websheet if TM1Web is configured for SPNEGO/KERBEROS.
In this document you will learn how to:
-Set the SPN for the TM1 Server / Account
-Configure a TM1 Server to use Windows Authentication and Test via TM1 Architect
-Prepare the TM1 Application Server for KERBEROS/SPNEGO Authentication
-Configure Websphere Liberty / TM1 Web to use Windows Authentication with Single Sign On
-Test your KERBEROS/SPNEGO SSO Configuration
-Debug your KERBEROS/SPNEGO SSO Configuration
