How do you configure IBM Cognos ReportNet and Microsoft's IIS to use https in URL?
Enable use of SSL for the Default Web Site of IIS.
Steps -
1. In IIS, open the the default web site
properties. Click Directory security, Secure
Communications, Edit.
2. Insert your
security certificate and select the require secure channel
selected check box.
3. Recycle the IIS service.
4.
In Cognos Configuration, in the Environment section change the Gateway URI to
https.
5. Import the necessary certificates into CRN/C8 truststore to
prevent missing pictures in Reports.

6. Save and restart Cognos ReportNet.
7. Log into
Cognos Connection using https.
