Summary
This technote lets you confirm which Cognos Analytics components are installed on one or more servers. In a distributed environment, it is helpful to know and maintain the topography of the Cognos Analytics environment. There are 3 majors Cognos Analytics components:
- Content Manager (Data Tier)
- Dispatcher (App Tier)
- Gateway (Web Tier)
In Cognos Analytics 11.2.4, there is a new component introduced called Image Service(VIDA)
