How to Change currency default in Cognos from Excel file upload?

Summary

When an upload file (.xlsx) is used in an Exploration, or, in Dashboard, the currencies are sometimes in the wrong designation (i.e.) CAD, even though Cognos configuration global setting is set to USD.
Using an FM package, there is no problem.
Is there a another place to set the default currency when using an uploaded file in Cognos?
