How can you download files that are saved in RStudio?
Answer
RStudio is a product from Posit Software. Refer to the RStudio documentation for information about how to download files.
What follows is an example of one option for downloading a file when you use RStudio with IBM Watson Studio.
In this example, you saved a file in Rstudio called iris.csv as shown in the picture that follows. You want to download the file to your local file system.
Complete the following steps to download the file:
- Go to the panel at the right, and click the Files tab. Your saved file is listed.
- Select the checkbox next to the file. See the following screen capture.
- Select More > Export at the top of the window. See the following screen capture:
An Export Files window opens to enable you to download the file. See the following screen capture:
- Click Download to download the file to your local machine.
