How to apply search filter from web client to Eclipse client

How To

Summary

How can you apply a search filter from the IBM® Rational® Asset Manager (RAM) web client to a search in the RAM Eclipse client?

Objective

In the RAM web client, there are various search filters on the Assets page.  When you click on any of these filters, you can retrieve various assets based on the search filter.  For example, the Community filter enables you to search for an asset that belongs to a particular community.
The screen capture shows a community called DevOps that has a number of assets.  If you click that link, it returns a list of all assets that belong to the community.

You would like to know how you can get this same result in a RAM Eclipse client.

Steps

1. Open the RAM Web Client and select Assets
2. Select a search filter, for example, Community > DevOps as in the screen capture:

3. Click the View search shortcut icon (the clipboard with a magnifying glass) after the search returns its results as in the following screen capture:

6. Open the Assets tab, as indicated in the screen capture.  Note that all assets belong to the DevOps community, which is the same result as in the RAM Web Client.
