How to Add Non-Repeating Function Key in Access Client Solutions 5250 Emulator
Resolving The Problem
If a function key is held down in the IBM i Access Client Solutions 5250 emulation screen, it will continue attempting to repeat the function until it is released.
To change the functions keys so they do not repeat the function when held down, you should do the following:
| 1. | On the IBM i Access Client Solutions emulation screen, go into Edit\Preferences\Keyboard and select the Key Repetition tab. |
| 2. | Select Add Key and press the function key you want to stop from repeating when held down. |
| 3. | Once the function key is added, click Save to save your changes. |
| Note: For the upper function keys such as F13, you will just need to add the F1 key; for F14, you would add the F2 key, and so on. | |
