How do we add an additional column to an existing data module in Cognos Analytics 11.1.3?
Answer
Steps:
- Refresh the schemas in the data server to which the data module is linked to: Manage > Data server connections > Select data server > Connections tab > Select connection name > Schemas tab > Select schema > More > Load metadata
- Open the data module and click on the 'Source view' tab on the left
- Expand the schema and the drag the updated table into the data module metadata tree. The new columns will be added to the list of query items.
