Guide on how to access Guacamole
At this time, the use of Remote Desktops not through TechZone or through third party applications is not supported.
More on this can be viewed here: https://w3.ibm.com/w3publisher/ciso-vulnerability-management/vulnerability-advisories-blog/e8e8ad00-cb48-11ed-81f7-1700c4cb4d52
To use a Guacamole, first start by navigating to your environment. Once you are there, you should see a page that looks like this:

From there, select the link to the Desktop URL. In this case, it is the first link provided as well as the link under the "Purpose" section.
Once selected, the page should look like the below. Please note that some environments have connection names based on the reservation ID.

Expand the view further and select "Remote Desktop"

You have now reached your Guacamole Remote Desktop!
Using VNC Console
Accessing via RDP may not work if the instance is on a Linux server. In order to access via VNC, open the IBM Cloud link at the bottom of the reservation under "Console URL", then at the top right Actions > Open VNC Console.

Notes for Sharing
Some environments have the option to be shared with clients and colleagues. It may also require the reservation ID of the original reservation for the remote desktop to be identified. In this case, please make sure that person the reservation is shared with is aware of the reservation ID of the original environment.
If there are any issues with access still, please open a support ticket with TechZone and share the email of the person having issues with access along with the original reservation ID.
Additionally, please include any screenshots as there are two different authentications when trying to access a Guacamole Remote Desktop. There is the Guacamole authentication and authentication through IBM Verify, and this helps narrow down where the access issue is.
Connection issues:
For any messages about "You have been disconnected" or "An internal error has occurred within the Guacamole server, and the connection has been terminated. If the problem persists, please notify your system administrator, or check your system logs." please check that your VM is running (if visible) or reach out to TechZone Support for further troubleshooting.
