Download and apply IBM Hard Disk Drive Update Program, version 1.09, or later (Firmware Level S96E or later).

This new microcode level includes logic changes to prevent conditions that may result in a possible error that could overwrite sectors of data. This error could result in incorrect or lost data and could go undetected by the system user. While the conditions required to cause the situation are highly unlikely, we nonetheless urge you to install the new microcode at your earliest convenience to avoid this potential error situation.
