Problem
DataStage parallel job without NLS reading from SQL Server using ODBC EE stage is not handling extended ASCII characters correctly. They are being written as a non-printable character in the target.
Symptom
DataStage job is reading from SQL Server, via ODBC EE stage, the data is processed and written to a Data Set. The next job reads from the data set and writes back to another table in SQL Server. Extended ASCII characters are not handled correctly. If the job reads from SQL Server and writes back to SQL Server the characters are written correctly.
