Getting QMR0050 when Running a Query Management Query

Troubleshooting

Problem

This document includes information on getting QMR0050 when running or changing a Query Management query.

Resolving The Problem

Query Management User Profiles have a list of every type of SQL statement allowed to be run. By default, the user only has SELECT. To correct the error QMR0050, you should do the following:

1. Issue the STRQM command.
2. Select Option 10.
3. Locate the profile.
4. Select Option 2 on the profile.
5. Page all the way down to Select allowed SQL statements . . . . N
6. Change N to Y, and press Enter.

This picture contains three parameters as follows: allow access to QM tables : Y, default column names displayed: 1, and select allowed SQL statements : Y.

You will get a list of all the types.

You may choose PF21 to select ALL, or you may select only the needed SQL statements:

This is a print screen of the "Select Allowed SQL Statements Screen". It contains a list of SQL statements to select. The CREATE VIEW statement is selected with a 1.
